The Bar Harbour auditorium will show a 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. screening of the movie Steve Jobs. Inventor, innovator, iconoclast; Steve Jobs was all of these and more. Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter. Teen Takeover Mondays
Every Monday from 3:30 to 5 p.m., teens get to take over the auditorium. Enjoy open play with video games on Wii U and XBOX 360, play Minecraft, check out the collection of board games and hang out with friends every Monday in the Bar Harbour auditorium. Summer Reading Program Volunteers Needed
Applications for the Plainedge Library’s summer reading program are now available in the children’s department for Plainedge School district students entering grades 6 and up. No previous volunteer experience necessary. Community service credit furnished upon request. In order to effectively schedule volunteers in time for the summer, all applications need to be submitted to a children’s librarian by Friday, May 13 the latest, no exceptions.
