Angel Reading With Darina

7 p.m. Angel Cards are a wonderful tool to use to connect with the loving messages that our guides and angels have for us. Join Darina Lee, certified angel card reader, for a fun night of expanding your tool box to connect with the divine. Lee asks that all participants bring their own Angel Card deck. These can be purchased online at Amazon or Hay House. She will bring a few decks for purchase for those who were unable to obtain their own. Cash only, please. Lee will not be giving readings this evening as she will be instructing. Registration is online or at the reference desk.

Artist Reception In Children’s Room

7 p.m. There will be a reception to unveil the beautiful artwork in the Children’s Room and to celebrate the artist, Mark Mineo.

Teen Executive Board Meeting

4 to 5 p.m. For grades 6 to 12. Calling all teens. Let your voice be heard. Your thoughts are wanted as far as what you want at the library. Bring your friends, and appetites —there will be munching on tasty pizza and snacks. Sign up online or at the adult reference desk. This program may contain food allergens. Community service will be given.

1 to 3 p.m. The Floral Park Chamber of Commerce will be offering a Google+ seminar for small businesses. Join them for an informative workshop to learn all that Google+ can do for you. Registration is online or at the reference desk.

Town Of Hempstead Passport Van

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Town of Hempstead’s “One-Stop Passport Shop” van will be at the library. Obtain passport forms for new passports or renewals, take required photos and file applications. Bring your birth certificate, previous passport or certificate of naturalization. No appointments necessary.

UFO’s! Everybody’s Got A Story!

7 p.m. This workshop is presented by Joseph Flammer, a Long Island-area Mutual UFO Network field investigator and author of the books, UFOs Over LI, NY and his newly published, UFOs Over America: Scariest Cases. This is a historical, stimulating fun program with plenty of photos and video, exploring high-profile UFO cases and legends, particularly on Long Island. Audience members are encouraged to participate with their own fascinating UFO stories—everybody’s got one. Registration is online or at the reference desk.
