Chocolate Works Scoops Support For Schools

Manhasset Chocolate Works will continue its biannual fundraiser to support Manhasset Community Coalition Against Substance Abuse (CASA) and the Manhasset School Community Association (SCA) in their missions to further Manhasset children’s physical, emotional and social well-being. “I am thrilled to support two wonderful organizations that do so much for the youth of Manhasset. Not only does CASA and the SCA focus on the important issue of substance abuse prevention, but they raise awareness and give support to so many issues that impact our children and families today,” stated Chocolate Works owner Stephanie Solomon.
Parents, caregivers, relatives and students are invited to stop by Chocolate Works after the fifth- and sixth-grade concerts to enjoy ice cream, chocolate and more while supporting the Manhasset schools. The SCA and CASA will receive 20 percent of all sales on the following dates:
• Wednesday, May 11, Munsey Park concert
• Thursday, May 12, Shelter Rock concert
• Thursday, May 19, after both schools’ concerts
Chocolate Works will remain open through 9:30 p.m. on these concert nights. The store is located at 346 Plandome Rd. in Manhasset.
