On Thursday, June 9, Optyx Eye Care Boutique will roll out the red carpet and open is ninth location in New York in Wheatley Plaza Mall in Greenvale.
The ribbon cutting will take place from 1 to 1:30 p.m. From 5:30-8:30 p.m., the grand opening will take place with champagne and a lite fare.
Guests that attend the grand opening will receive a gift card for $100 off any selected frame.
Ten percent of the proceeds will benefit the Nassau Community College Foundation to create a scholarship for a veteran attending classes at NCC.
Also on June 9, guests are invited to bring in an old pair of eyeglasses. Optyx will donate a new pair of frames to local vets. Guests will receive a raffle ticket upon entering the store.
Raffle items include designer brands such as Shamballa, Dior, Dita and more.
