Who doesn’t love a sale? This year’s annual Summer Sidewalk Sale, sponsored by the Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District (BID) and the Village of Great Neck Plaza, will be held from June 23 to 26. Participating shops, including Jildor Shoes, Nardo Shoes, Marcari Salon, RED, Lonny’s, Linda Silver Designs, Taeree’s and more, will be having seasonal sales within the stores and on the sidewalk throughout Great Neck Plaza.
Merchants will bring their goods al fresco, so shoppers can stroll along the beautiful village streets and enjoy the warm summer weather with friends and family. The sale welcomes residents from Great Neck as well as the neighboring villages to spend these few days enjoying the best deals on a variety of products, apparel and goods.
“The Sidewalk Sale is a great chance to get the best deals,” said Fred Simon, owner of RED and a Great Neck Plaza BID board member. “Our customers love to take advantage of the warm summer weather, while also finding great discounts.”
This summer event provides a wonderful opportunity for shoppers to discover and purchase high-quality items at great prices. “The Annual Sidewalk Sale gives community members and neighbors a chance to enjoy the summer weather while shopping at their favorite stores in Great Neck Plaza,” said Ron Edelson, Great Neck Plaza BID executive director.
Bonus: These Great Neck Plaza stores are within walking distance of the Great Neck LIRR train station, plus the plaza features more than 1,600 parking spaces on the street and in municipal parking lots.
On June 26, the final day of the Sidewalk Sale, the Village of Great Neck Plaza will be hosting its first-ever Multicultural Fest from noon to 10 p.m. A lively, family-friendly event, the Multicultural Fest aims to celebrate the diversity of the Great Neck region through dining, games, rides and live entertainment. The festival will be held on Middle Neck Road between Grace Avenue and Maple Drive. Click here for details about the event.
