Leandra Law Arrest In Roslyn Heights

Nassau County Police report the arrest of a Floral Park man for Driving While Intoxicated (Leandra Law) that occurred on Sunday, July 3, at 1:15 a.m. in Roslyn Heights. According to police, Albin W. Castillo was driving a 2015 Toyota southbound on Roslyn Road with a 15 year-old-male passenger. A Third Precinct officer observed the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and conducted a vehicle and traffic stop. During the investigation it was determined that Castillo was intoxicated and placed under arrest. The passenger was released to his father at the scene. Castillo is charged with Aggravated Driving while Intoxicated (Leandra Law), Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Driving While Intoxicated, and Imprudent Speed. He was arraigned on Sunday, July 3 at First District Court in Hempstead.
