Homecoming 2016 was another great event for the Island Trees community. Although the Bulldogs lost 35-7 to Cold Spring Harbor, the day was still full of team spirit.
In addition to the annual parade, the school held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the school’s new bleachers, which will be enjoyed by Bulldogs fans for years to come.
A giant inflatable football helmet adorned with the team logo, was also unveiled much to the delight of the crowd and football team. Special thanks to the Island Trees Football Booster Club for the wonderful new prop. Also deserving of thanks are the families, friends and Island Trees Board of Education and local organizations, who came out to support the Bulldogs, cheerleaders, kickline members and marching band.
