The luscious sounds of Huntington native Paige Patterson, who has a background in jazz and musical theatre, offers holiday cheer for the soul in the Sky Room Cafe with her tantalizing artistic talents on display. Roots Foundation
This local reggae band, founded in 2004 by Alex Flynn (guitar backing and vocals) and Corey Browd (Bass guitar), is dedicated to spreading the genre across Long Island and the world, and getting crowds to “dance to the vibes” of hits like “Mr. Harmonica” and tributes to artists like Bob Marley. Reggae, like the blues and jazz, embodies some type of elemental sonic properties that not only somehow seem to make everything just a little bit better, especially when you’re dancin’ along to the vibes and letting those soulful notes just cleanse you of your worries and fears! Greg Stone
Enthusiasm minus caution equals standup comedian Greg Stone, known for his hilarious tweets and storytelling abilities. A fixture at Manhattan’s top comedy clubs, Stone shares true stories of his highs and lows caused by his lack of inhibition, and has recently performed on America’s Got Talent, Gotham Comedy Live, Friends of the People, Sirius XM’s The Bennington Show, and hit podcasts like Tuesdays with Stories. The Chocolate Expo
Have you ever dreamed of sailing along in a sea of glorious chocolate atop a marshmallow boat, scooping your cupped hands in the thick velvety goo as oars, licking and gulping down that heavenly porridge just as fast as those rich waves will let you, intentionally capsizing at some point to simply try and swallow the entire ocean in one ultimate gasp for cocoa nirvana?! Of course you haven’t, that would be, like, totally weird and irregular. Who dreams of stuff like that, anyway? Well, while not the exact realization of that exact unimaginable choco-fantasy, this mouthwatering event offers so many tastings & sales of chocolates, baked goods, specialty foods, gelato, cheeses, wines and more, from 35-100 local, regional and international vendors, combining that oh-sweet chocolate and food with a dash of fun! Doo Wop Extravaganza
Do it up doo-wop style with this amazing lineup! Take a trip down memory lane with classic hits by Charlie Thomas & The Drifters, Danny & The Juniors featuring Joe Terry, The Legendary Teenagers, The Original Chantels, The Classics, The Capris, Randy & The Rainbows featuring Randy Safuto and The Emotions. Riverhead Santacaon
SantaCon, the two-decade-old annual good-natured gathering of naughty Santas in San Francisco that has spawned like-minded events worldwide is returning to Long Island. The New York City version, which has outgrown its roots as street theater in which Santas march around town, will be held the same day as Riverhead’s. 40 Below Summer
Progressive rock band 40 Below Summer describes itself as an “aggressive rock band that explores a bit of everything” and cites Led Zeppelin and Tool as its influences. Known for hits like “My Name is Vengeance,” “Step Into the Sideshow,” “Wither Away” and “Self Medicate,” the band’s most recent album Transmission Infrared was released in 2015, following several reunions and a 2005 breakup. Alive! ’75
The lineup at this show is a trifecta of tribute bands, including KISS tribute band Alive! ’75, Tool tribute band Schism and Iron Maiden tribute band Live After Death. Suzy Bogguss – A Swingin’ Little Christmas
Grammy Award-winning artist Suzy Bogguss presents a joyous evening of festive traditional Christmas songs, including “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” interwoven with her own classic hits like “Two Step Round the Christmas Tree.” With a rich and fluid voice and encouragement of audience participation, the performance differs every night and aims to engage the Christmas spirit of the audience and touch listeners. Walshy Fire of Major Lazer
Think about the most groovin’ tunes a thump-thump thumpin’ as you spin round and round a bump-bump bumpin’ and raising your hands up in the air, colors and sounds all swirlin’ round the place, colliding and melding into a singular, illuminating vision of pure, unrefined dance magic resurrection! The Nutcracker Suite

The Witness
On March 13, 1964, Kitty Genovese was repeatedly attacked on a street in Kew Gardens, Queens. Soon after, The New York Times published a front-page story asserting that 38 witnesses watched her being murdered from their apartment windows—and did nothing to help. The death of Kitty Genovese, 28, quickly became a symbol of urban apathy. James Solomon’s moving documentary chronicles Bill Genovese’s quest for the truth behind his sister’s notorious murder. Here to perform his career hits like “Forever in Love,” “Songbird” and “The Moment,” as well as holiday favorites, Kenny G. is finishing up his Brazilian Tour inspired by his latest drop, Brazilian Nights. Richard Panchyk
Long Island author and historian Richard Panchyk will be reading passages, signing copies, and speaking about his new book Hidden History of Long Island. Will Panchyk dedicate a large portion of his appearance to detail the mysterious back channels along its ancient shores, its long-rumored haunts, and perhaps even ts connections to the popular Netflix show Stranger Things?
