Floral Park Memorial High School’s Future Business Leaders of America participation in the Spring District Meeting at Hofstra University on Jan. 20 was an overall success.
After a wonderful opening ceremony, given by the Frank G. Zarb School of Business, students competed in various events. Floral Park Memorial students along with hundreds of other FBLA members from Nassau and Suffolk counties took part in the competition. Months of preparation, practice and effort paid off as many students placed in the top five of their exam.
Spring District conference was a great opportunity for FBLA students to use their networking skills and to further build their business skills. Members are looking forward to competing on the state level in Rochester, New York in April.
