No arrests have been made in a burglary that took place last Saturday in Roslyn Heights.
According to detectives from the Nassau County Police Department’s Third Squad, the burglary occurred on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 12:40 a.m. in Roslyn Heights.
Detectives said that four black males entered a Sherwood Lane home through a side door and approached a female victim, 63, and demanded she give them money. One of the suspects, wearing a red jacket, threatened the victim while another held her down and ripped a gold chain from her neck, detectives added. One of the other suspects removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim’s pocketbook, detectives said. The four suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. The victim’s husband, 66, was also present and sleeping in a different part of the home at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.
