Tributes to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones hit the stage
This year’s free summer concert at the Stadium at Michael J. Tully Park, located at 1801 Evergreen Ave. in New Hyde Park, will include two bands paying tribute to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the town board recently announced that the event will take place Friday, Aug. 4, at 7 p.m.
“We are so very excited to have a great slate of incredible cover bands for the annual stadium show at Michael J. Tully Park,” said Bosworth.
Strawberry Fields, a tribute to the Beatles, and the Streetfighter Band, a tribute to the Rolling Stones, will perform for residents. For more information, call 311 and visit www.northhempsteadny.gov/summer for a full schedule of summer events and festivals.
