All are invited to join the Manhasset-Port Washington Kiwanis Club International and enjoy a hearty and delicious pancake breakfast. The Kiwanis second annual Port Washington Pancake Breakfast will be held on Sunday, April 15, at the Schreiber High School cafeteria from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Kiwanis and the Schreiber High School Key Club will work together to ensure a successful and fun-filled morning for everyone.
No need to cook, the all-you-can-eat breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, bacon and beverages (coffee, tea, juice, water) at a donation price of $10 per person. Children age 7 and under eat for free. The morning includes live music, arts & crafts for children, as well as a lively emcee to entertain and announce sponsors and supporters.
All proceeds will benefit the Kiwanis Club of Manhasset-Port Washington, a 501(c)3 organization, which seeks to help children and families wherever the need presents itself, through scholarships for local graduating seniors, summer camp programs for needy children (Kamp Kiwanis), drug and alcohol awareness programs and anti-bullying programs. The club supports and provides volunteer hours to the Ronald McDonald House, the Helen Keller Center and the Salvation Army.
