Congratulations to Manhasset Secondary School student Olivia Robson, who is one of 100 young artists selected for this year’s Long Island’s Best: Young Artists at the Heckscher Museum high school student art competition.
According to Olivia’s art teacher Lori Oldaker, her painting was inspired by a work she viewed during a class field trip to the Heckscher Museum, was chosen from 388 art submissions representing 58 high schools across Nassau and Suffolk counties.
This is the 25th year of Long Island’s Best: Young Artists at the Heckscher Museum exhibition and the 100th anniversary of the Heckscher Museum of Art.
