Adoption Tiffany

2-year-old Tiffany is a gem! This girl brings a sweet nature that shines through every day. She loves stuffed animals, Kongs, pup cups, and even raspberries! Her treat-driven personality makes training a breeze, and she’s already mastered commands like sit, paw, and all done. When she’s ready to unwind, Tiffany enjoys cuddling up with you or finding a cozy spot to rest. If you can make Tiffany your only pet, please inquire about her today.

Adoption Boomer

Boomer was rescued from Louisiana in horrible condition. This 5-year-old fella is so grateful to his amazing foster who nursed him back to health. He is great with dogs his size and would do best in a home where he can run around and play in a backyard.

Adoption Lucky

The name says it all! Lucky was saved from the euthanasia list at the NYACC which is crazy to think about, considering all he does is show love and gratitude to his rescuers. Not much is known about Lucky other than he is healthy and very loving. Please consider inquiring about Lucky today.

Adoption Twinkle

This little star is Twinkle. She was part of a TNR project in Elmont who now spends her days lounging and playing with her kitty friends. She takes a while to warm up. but once she does, she loves to be shown affection and loves to be pet!

Adoption Bailey

Little Bailey was rescued from Suffolk County, NY this summer along with a few other frightened little kittens. At just 5-months-old, she’s learned to trust humans through the dedication of caring volunteers and has really become quite the mush ball who loves lots of attention. Adoption Lucia

Lucia is gentle and easygoing. This affectionate 1-year-old cat was rescued with two of her kittens. To describe Lucia in a word or two would be mellow and affectionate. This lovely lady enjoys attention and lounging on a cat tree. She is respectful of your space and likes cat scratching posts. Lucia is still young enough to be playful but is gentle and kind. Lucia will make a great companion in any household, as she is friendly too!

Adoption Licorice

Licorice is a cat’s cat! She would do well with an experienced cat owner who’s willing to work with her. Licorice is easily startled, so a quiet home would be best for her. This kitty prefers to be pet at eye level, whether on a cat tree or other furniture. When she wants pets she will run up to you, look at you, and then run to the nearest cat tree and flop over belly up, already purring for pets. Licorice scratches her own ear when she wants to be petted, like “hey look! do like this!” She likes to sleep in bed with you and is rather chatty.  She does seem to take cues from other cats and would benefit from a confident dominant leader in the household.

Adoption Pigeon

*Senior Alert* Pigeon is a sweet and loving senior cat who is looking for a good home. Her previous owner who loved and cared for her is a paraplegic senior who can no longer care for her. Pigeon purrs non-stop, even in her sleep. She enjoys chin and butt scratches. Pigeon will let you brush her but will let you know when it’s enough. Although Pigeon sleeps a lot she does get bursts of energy and likes to run around between naps. Since she has been in foster and eating Royal Canin food, she has improved with her sensitive stomach issues and does well on a high fiber diet. Pigeon would need to be the only Queen of her castle and is available for long term fostering or Seniors for Seniors adoption through TLC.

Adoption Sweet Tea

Sweet Tea is a 2-year-old pint size pibble that loves to run and play.  She is as sweet as her name implies and loves to be surrounded by people.  She was found almost one year ago as a stray, a recent mom and very underweight, wandering busy roads trying desperately to get into passing cars. Since then, Sweet Tea has had many firsts, like learning she loves to swim, posing for photoshoots, and snuggle up to all humans she meets. She would do best as an only pet.  She wants to befriend other dogs, but is young and likes to rough house, so constant supervision and selecting appropriate play dates is recommended. Sweet Tea will be at the shelter for one year next month. Let’s help her find her forever home soon!

Adoption Bastet

*Double Adoption* One-year-olds besties, Bastet and Heru needed help conquering their fears of people ever since they were locally rescued. These adorable tabbies are now safely cuddling together in a beautiful room at Bianca’s Furry Friends, perfectly content with being around people. They’ve grown into superstars, surrounded by friends, toys, and treats. If you’ve had cats before, you’ll recognize how time and patience can help them adjust to their new home.

Adoption Shayla

Gentle two-year-old Shayla knows that she’s in good hands after settling into Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. This little beauty may still need a little reminder that she’s safe, but a loving, experienced family with older children. An offering of treats is all Shayla will ever need to feel purrmanently settled in a home. Time and patience will give Shayla that extra boost she needs to learn to trust you.

Adoption Marmot

Five-year-old Marmot’s past may be a mystery, but he’s looking ahead to a secure future with a devoted adopter who’ll never let him down. He’s been enjoying the freedom of his room in Bianca’s Furry Friends and thinks chasing feathers is the best way to spend the day. A family who can keep up with his cat antics is exactly what Marmot’s been waiting for.

Adoption Amari

One-year-old Amari is a local rescue who came to Animal League America us for a lifestyle reset. Always dressed to impress in her stunning tuxedo, Amari is the purrfect fit for adopters with older kids looking for a gentle lady with a generous heart. As the only pet in her home, she’s going to happily experience a lot of firsts with you, starting with her first real home. If you’d like to celebrate her upcoming 2nd birthday with her, she’d love to spend it loving you!

Adoption Shakespaw

To cat or not to cat? That is the question! William Shakespaw has a tale to share with the lucky family who becomes his future audience. This five-month-old kitty was locally rescued and, despite some heart issues, has become the Bard of Bianca’s Furry Friends, scooting into the arms of his visitors, never turning down a good long nuzzle. William will need an echocardiogram in the spring and possibly a balloon valvuloplasty to improve his heart health. He’s looking for a foster home that we hope will become his purrament one.

Adoption Donnie

Want to meet an irresistibly purrfectly imperfect six-month-old kitten? Donnie is rolling through hearts—literally! This delightful local rescue has cerebellar hyperplasia, which has created challenges with balance but won’t stop him! He’s just rolling around with friends and toys, like any other kitten, and Animal League America is excited to include him in their Sponsor program to make things even easier for his family.

Adoption Sultan

Five-year-old Sultan was found abandoned in a crate on the street, where he was rescued by compassionate strangers and brought to Animal League America. While he’s overwhelmed with these drastic life changes, Sultan now realizes that he’s safe and being cared for, perhaps for the first time in his life. This big lovable lug is going to need a special owner who’ll commit to getting him back in shape to benefit his overall health.

Adoption Roxy

*Senior Alert * Roxy has a sad story. She arrived at the shelter in 2017 when she was found wandering the streets. She’s been in and out of a home since then and was just returned because the owner is moving. Roxy needs an adult home with low traffic where she gets to be who she really is. She’s good on leash, accepts rewards happily and enjoys being pet. She deserves a home where she can experience the world with her trusting family, providing support and positive reinforcement. Roxy is 9-years-old and still playful and full of spunk; she is friendly when meeting new people but is much happier around adults. Roxy was reported to have guarded in a previous home so it’s important she’s set up for success this go around. Like many dogs, Roxy is stressed in a shelter setting and would love an adopter or foster to scoop her up. Please consider adopting her today.

Adoption Rosie

Rosie is the definition of gentle. This 3-year-old, 80lb lovebug loves to snuggle and wants all of your attention, so she would do best in a solo dog home. Rosie always has a goofy smile on her face, with her ears perked up waiting to hear the next compliment you have for her. When she spends time in the adoption office, she is a staff favorite as she is very loving and affectionate with every new person she meets and has no stranger/reactivity issues. Rosie will thrive best in an active family with children 13+. Rosie is extremely smart and aims to please. She loves to play outside with her people and end the day with snuggles and love. Come meet Rosie today!
