Three students from the Great Neck UFSD were named Students of the Quarter at Nassau BOCES Barry Tech career and technical education high school. Elizabeth Mejia is attending Great Neck South High School; Hila Bakhshi is a student at John L. Miller-Great Neck North; and Hyunjun Chang is a Village School student. All three were honored for their grades, attendance, work ethic and preparedness.
Elizabeth is studying Horse Science and Management Skills; Hila is studying Animation and Digital Media Skills; and Hyunjun is studying Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Administration. Students of the Quarter have taken the initiative on class projects and are role models for their fellow students, in both the classroom and the workplace.
