The Manhasset Secondary School middle school theatre program presented Aladdin Jr. on Friday and Saturday, May 10 and 11 at 7:30 p.m. The students have been working hard to bring to life this classic story whose rendition is based on the 2014 Broadway production and produced by Disney Theatrical Productions.
Starring Jackson Yu as Aladdin and Anna Silva as Jasmine, the play is directed by Ms. DiCarlo who couldn’t be prouder of her students. She also said that she is thankful to the high school theatre students who came back to help with the production.
“Middle School is always exciting because for half of them this is the first time they are in a show,” said DiCarlo. “It’s the coolest thing to watch many of my students find what they love and what they are passionate about.”
