A vibrant musical experience that celebrates the legacy and power of the Stonewall Riots, and takes you on a musical journey, from Donna Summer and Queen, to George Michael, Erasure, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and much more! Hear songs like “On the Radio,” “Freedom,” “I Will Survive,” “Under Pressure,” “Time Warp,” “Express Yourself,” “Born This Way,” and many, many more! The event Starts at 7:30 pm in the concert hall. Tickets start at $30, including facility fee per ticket. Prices are subject to change with demand.

Free Summer Concert Series
Supervisor Joseph Saladino and members of the Town Board announce the return of “Music Under the Stars” – a free summer concert series – that features a wide variety of genres ranging from country to rock. All concerts begin at 8 pm unless otherwise noted below. For comfort, residents may bring blankets, chairs, and coolers. Performances are subject to change and will be held weather permitting. The Neil Diamond Experience featuring Robert Neary on Tuesday, July 2 at John J. Burns Town Park in Massapequa. Any Way You Want It: Journey Tribute on Wednesday, July 3 at John J. Burns Town Park in Massapequa. The Allmost Brothers Band: a tribute to the Allman Brothers Band on Saturday, July 6 at Ellsworth W. Allen Town Park in Farmingdale. Salute to America Honoring Veterans & Armed Forces featuring Lee Rocker of the Stray Cats followed by Grucci Fireworks on Tuesday, July 9, starting at 7:30 p.m. at TOBAY Beach in Massapequa.

Annual Paddle for the Sound
From July 12 through 21, join us for an exciting and friendly kayak, paddleboard, and canoe competition with a chance to win one of four exciting prize packages sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, Patagonia, Outdoor Sports, Ben & Jerry’s, cinder + salt, and more! Every dollar raised helps protect our beautiful estuary for current and future generations. Since 2015, Paddle for the Sound has united paddlers, nature enthusiasts, and activists both in-person and virtually to support and raise awareness for our region’s environment. Power to Feed Long Island Food Drive
PSEG Long Island and Island Harvest Food Bank thank the people of Massapequa and the surrounding communities for donating the equivalent of more than 1,800 meals at PSEG Long Island’s Power to Feed Long Island food collection on Friday, May 24. Upcoming drop-off dates include: Friday, July 12 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Stop & Shop on 260 Pond Path, South Setauket.
