Clarification of ‘League of Women Voters’ article

Last week, Schneps Media ran a story stating that GOP incumbent Nassau County Legislator for District 10 Mazi Melesa Pilip and Conservative Republican Yaron Levy running for Town of North Hempstead Council for District 5  declined to participate in a candidate forum organized by the League of Women Voters.

Both candidates said they are observant Jews and were unable to attend because the forum was scheduled during Simchat Torah.
