At the All County Awards dinner on Wednesday, June 17 at the Marriott in Hempstead, Coach Ron Scudder was presented with the “JV Coach of the Year” award. Coach Scudder’s Oyster Bay High School Junior Varsity Baseball team enjoyed a stellar season with a record of 17-1.
Coach Jay Davis was also presented with the “Varsity Coach of the Year” Award. Last year, Mr. Davis was selected as Coach of the Year for Conference ‘C.’ This year it is for the entire County. A truly amazing accomplishment for our school district.
Jake Robinson was presented with the “John Cody – Conference ‘C’ Most Valuable Player Award,” for outstanding baseball ability, team play and sportsmanship in the Nassau County Tournament. These awards were presented by the Nassau County Baseball Coaches Association.
