Robert N. Hay 83, of Yardley, PA died on April 18, 2010 at his home in Yardley. Born in Brooklyn, Mr. Hay had been a resident of Yardley for over 21 years moving from Floral Park. He was a retired financial analyst.
Robert received is B.S degree from Georgetown School of Foreign Service and his M.B.A. from the New York University Stern School of Business. He was a member of the Yardley Book Club and enjoyed military history and his hobby of building model ships from scratch. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He was the son of the late Oliver and Josephine (Callard) Hay and is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia (Ryan) Hay; his four children, Robert N. Hay Jr. of Westfield, NJ, Karen Hay Coyle and her husband Gordon of New City, NY, Thomas A. Hay of Washington, DC, John R. Hay, of Falls Church, VA; eight grandchildren, Laurel and Thomas Coyle, Robert N. III, James, Andrew, William, Alexander and David Hay.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 8 at 11 a.m. in The Church of the Sacred Heart, South Broad St., Trenton, NJ. Interment will take place at a later date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Upper Makefield Twp., PA.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay St., Newtown, PA 18940 or St. Mary Medical Center, C/O the Foundation Department, 1201 Langhorne Newtown Roads, Langhorne, PA 19047.
