Rita E. Heller (Vishner) passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2010. Together with Robert Heller, Rita has six children whom she was extremely proud of: Bobby and Pat, Lori and Jerry Sutherland, Ronnie and Heidi, Lynda and Eric Wagner, Michael and Diane, Randi and Ronny Caputo. Rita leaves behind fond memories to her 14 grandchildren: Thomas, Matthew, Alex, Brandon, Zack, Hollyann, Hailey, Samantha, Owen, Jake, Hannah, Emily, Mikey, and Jayme.
Rita was a longtime resident of Farmingdale, graduating from Farmingdale H.S. in 1959 with a record-holding 13 Varsity sports letters. She was a Farmingdale Hawks cheerleading coach and a class mother several times as her six children attended Northside Elementary School. She had a passion for fishing and the beach. Rita also leaves behind her sister Noreen Chiger and brother George Vishner. She is now reunited with her parents, George and Fran (Chesna) and her friend Jim 99, and will now be able to rest in peace. We love you mom.
