Legislator Belisi Presents FBHS With Programming Contribution

Trustee Cheryl Parisi, Deputy Mayor Patricia Christiansen, Legislator Joseph Belesi, Farmingdale Bethpage Historical Society (FBHS) President Mildred Johnson, and Mayor George Starkie were in attendance at the FBHS’s 47th Annual Founders Day Dinner hosted at Palmers Restaurant in Farmingdale. Legislator Belesi presented a check for $9,000, on behalf of Nassau County, to the Historical Society to provide assistance enhance speaker programs and the display of historical materials and to expand the reach of the historical society within the community. FBHS is presently accepting contributions for its Civil War Memorial, to be unveiled at a Memorial Day celebration on the Village Green.
