Matthew Fetzer Foundation Benefit to provide toys for children with cancer
The Village of Bayville is hosting the fourth Annual Turkey Trot on Nov. 12 in honor of Matthew Fetzer. Matthew lived his entire life in Bayville. He battled cancer for seven years, and was 10 years old when he lost his battle.
The Matthew Fetzer Foundation was started because it was Matthew’s wish to help children with cancer. The foundation provides toys, parties and financial support to children with cancer. Fifteen dollars of every entry fee from the Turkey Trot will go to the Matthew Fetzer Foundation.
Participants can pre-register or register the day of the race. Applications are available on line at Bayvilleny.gov or by calling 628-1439, ext. 16.
