Carle Place High School senior Dylan Klein has signed a National Letter of Intent for a full scholarship to play soccer for Hofstra University beginning next fall.
During his athletic career, Klein has been named a 2013 NSCAA All-American, All-Region 1st team, All-State 1st team, All-County, Conference III Player of the Year, All-Long Island 1st team, Nassau County points leader with 13 goals/18 assists and Jim Steen/County Player of the Year. Most recently, he was named Gatorade’s 2013-2014 New York Boys Soccer Player of the Year, ranking him as the state’s best high school boys soccer player.
Klein has been playing on the Carle Place School District varsity soccer team for four years and helped lead the team to a state championship title this past fall — a first in the district’s boys varsity soccer history.
