It’s Time for Tea
The Oyster Bay Historical Society’s spring exhibition, It’s Time for Tea!, is open at the Koenig Center, 20 Summit St., through June 8. It features ceramics by members of the Long Island Craft Guild’s Clay Media Group, and several miniature teapots by famed studio potter Fong Chee. Most items are for sale. Fabulous Interiors At Coe Hall
Coe Hall Mansion at Planting Fields hosts an exhibit through Sept. 30 featuring Fabulous Interiors by Elsie de Wolfe and Charles Duveen, 1915 – 1945 is open daily at Coe Hall from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission to the exhibit is free with $4 Coe Hall admission fee. The Tea House near the Italian Garden is open daily from 12:30 to 2 p.m., entrance to the Tea House is free with $8 parking fee.

History Walk
Join Oyster Bay Historical Society Director Phil Blocklyn on a foot tour of Oyster Bay, featuring the historical sites along East and West Main Street, Audrey Avenue, and South Street in the heart of the hamlet at 2 p.m. [May 31, June 21, July 19, and August 9, fee $25; each tour different]. Tea with Dolly and Me
Raynham Hall Museum invites young ladies to bring their favorite doll and a special adult to a tea under a tent in their garden May 31 from 3 to 5 p.m. There, they will learn about the museum’s Victorian doll collection,and make their own yarn doll and an old-fashioned toy. Refreshments provided, including finger sandwiches, fruits and yummy treats. Remember to bring your favorite doll or teddy and a tea cup. Space is limited, so reserve ASAP by calling 922-6808. The admission is $25 per child/$10 per adult.

Bay Day, Art Day
The WaterFront Center presents its annual Bay Day events the same day as the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Chamber of Commerce presents it’s Art Walk from the Knitted Purl to the Bandstand on Audrey Avenue. [Nassau County has cleared out its highway equipment from Beekman Beach allowing the Bay Day events to continue this year. The county plans to return in October to work on the area from Cleft Road to Oyster Bay.] The event for learning about the marine environment includes: live music on stage; food and refreshments for purchase from Sweet Tomato; the Anything That Floats Race; free harbor tours aboard the Christeen; free Sonar sails; free kayaks; touch tanks of local marine life; and community groups outreach. Anniversary Party
Raynham Hall Museum celebrated the 60th anniversary of their incorporation of The Friends of Raymham Hall, Inc. with a cocktail reception for the opening of their new exhibit, Founding Friends: For the Love of Raynham Hall. Alex Southerland has been researching the creation of the museum by a group of enthusiastic woman as they saved the house from falling into disrepair. “We have a great story to tell,” she said. Skeeter Walk To Stop Malaria
At Village Church of Bayville, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The goal of the United Methodist Church’s “Imagine No Malaria” campaign is to eliminate the threat of a deadly disease that kills someone in Africa every 60 seconds by 2015. The death rate has dropped in half since 2010, when someone died once every 30 seconds. Join in for a 2.4-mile “Skeeter Walk” (named for the mosquitoes that carry the virus) beginning and ending at the Village Church. The North Shore Assembly of God, 84 Orchard St., Oyster Bay is operating a new food pantry for the community. It is meant to supplement the growing needs of the community.
