Sentencing In Molestation Case

A Freeport man was sentenced on June 6 after pleading guilty to attempting to molest a male employee in May 2013 at a Syosset warehouse.

Police say 55-year-old Alfred Balcerak, owner of Dun Rite Upholstery in East Norwich and a registered sex offender, admitted to trying to sexually abuse the man in a company warehouse at 18 W. Jericho Tpke. in Syosset.

Balcerak was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison and three years post-release supervision.
