Vincent F. Nicolosi, born July 30, 1939 died on July 11, 2014,survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Maureen Lynch Nicolosi; his son Ryan Nicolosi who is a senior at New York Law School; daughter Maura Nicolosi Nassirian who was his law partner; daughter; Carolyn Nicolosi Greene; sons Vincent Nicolosi Jr. Robert Nicolosi and their respective spouces ; sisters Mary Buscemi, Camille Robinson and Nancy Cavanagh; and nine grandchildren. He dearly loved each and every member of his family.
He was a distinguished member of the New York State Assembly from 1973 through 1980 and a Commissioner of the New York State Commission of Investigation from 1998 to 2009.
Family and friends will be received at Fairchild Funeral Chapel, 1570 Northern Boulevard, Manhasset, New York on Monday July 14 between 3 and 5 p.m . and 7 to 9 p.m . Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church 1300 Northern Blvd., Manhasset New York on Tuesday, July 15 at 10 a.m. Donations may be made in his honor to Saint Francis Hospital Foundation, Office of Development, 100 Port Washington Blvd., Roslyn, NY 11576.
