“Most fundraising events honor heads of huge corporations who can donate tens of thousands of dollars to an organization they otherwise don’t normally help. With our Champions for a Cure event, we give regular business people, who understand how important it is for businesses to help non-profits, a chance to be recognized without the burden of making a major donation,” said Maria Morales-Prieto, president of The Hispanic Network. “Our honorees are unsung heroes who truly merit the tribute.”
The Champions for a Cure event selects a different non-profit that raises funds for medical research each year. Tickets are $65, including open bar and exhibitor booths $150. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Learn more at www.thnchampion.eventbrite.com.
