North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board, in conjunction the Department of Services for the Aging, will be presenting the Town’s 1st Annual “Antiques Roadshow” on Monday, Oct. 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Clinton G. Martin Park in New Hyde Park.
The program will be co-hosted by the Museum of Interesting Things, a traveling interactive demonstration and exhibition of antiques and inventions. Their experienced curators will allow attendees to see and touch antiques and inventions that have shaped our history. Those who are attending the event may also bring a small item with to be informally appraised.
In addition, the Office of the Town Clerk will be on hand to share fun historical facts about the Town.
