On Saturday, April 11, the Town of North Hempstead Supervisor will be awarded the Diana Coleman Award for Progressive Leadership by the Long Island Progressive Coalition.
Bosworth, a Great Neck resident, has devoted her political career to promoting safer drinking water, protecting the aquafiers, and improving the quality of life for the residents of Nassau County and the Town of North Hempstead. She is married to Dr. Jay Bosworth and has successfully raised her family on Long Island, a place she considers home.
The Long Island Progressive Coalition will be holding its annual award luncheon at the Timber Point Country Club on Great River Rd. in Great River, NY. New York State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli will be introducing the awards.
