The Beth C. Tortolani Foundation will host its Nineteenth Annual Dinner Dance at Terrace On the Park in Flushing on Saturday, April 18.
This year we are proud to honor Dr. Barry Kaplan, Director of Medical Oncology/Hematology and The Cancer Center at New York Hospital Queens and Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Weill-Cornell Medical School, and Dr. Hani Ashamalla, Chairman of Radiation Oncology a New York Methodist Hospital and Clinical Professor of Radiation Oncology at Weill-Cornell Medical School for their commitment and dedication to women with breast cancer.
The Beth C. Tortolani Foundation was founded in 1996 in memory of Beth, who died of breast cancer at age 50. Donations from friends, hospitals and corporate sponsors have helped the Foundation offer assistance and educational programs for breast cancer patients and their families and continue to support transitional research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
The Foundation has raised over three million dollars and has
sponsored programs extending through the Five Boroughs of New York including Nassau, Suffolk
and Westchester Counties and continues to accept applications for grant proposals.
For more information about the BCT Foundation and its programs, or if you would like to attend the dinner dance, please call the administrative director, Terry DeLauro, at 516-783-5398.
