Every parent knows the experience. A nutritious dinner they prepare goes untouched by their picky eater child. What happens after the parent’s pleads ‘try just one bite’ and ‘how do you know you don’t like it if you didn’t even try it’?
Join expert Louisa Ferrara of Winthrop University Hospital on Tuesday, Apr 14 when she offers help for parents of picky eaters. The free presentation begins at 7:30pm in the Manhasset Public Library’s Community Room on the lower level. All are invited to attend.
Ms. Ferrara will discuss eating and nutrition issues and parent tips on how to encourage and succeed in getting your child to try new foods. Ms. Ferrara is a certified specialist in the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Winthrop Hospital. The presentation will be followed by an ‘ask the expert Q&A’.
