The Vincent Smith School (VSS) will welcome Keller Williams Gold Coast Realty (KW) and its associates on Red Day, Thursday, May 14. Red Day is an initiative dedicated to celebrating Keller Williams Realty’s year-round commitment to improving local communities.
This year, the Vincent Smith School was chosen as the recipient of the company’s volunteer efforts. The Keller Williams Realty Gold Coast market center will help to revitalize the landscaping of the school by planting flowers, erecting a “meditation” bench for students and parents, as well as dedicating a tree. Portions of the 4.5-acre property will be landscaped, under the direction of Richard Bignatow, a licensed landscape architect who will oversee VSS participants and KW agents.
The Vincent Smith School students, faculty and administration will work with agents to beautify the grounds by planting spring flowers at the main entrance and in front of the Lower School. The day will provide both education and enlightenment for students, as they learn and understand the importance of caring for the land and rejuvenating it.
Students will paint “welcoming” rocks that will be strategically placed throughout school property and will receive a plant from KW in honor of the day.
