On July 20, the Joseph C. Zoller Memorial Fund held its Eleventh Annual Golf Classic at the Sands Point Golf Club. This event supports the scholarship fund established at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Education in Joseph Zoller’s name. Guests enjoyed a great day of golf culminating with a lavish cocktail hour, raffles, a silent auction and a fabulous dinner. Rodger Van Allen, director of development for professional schools at Fordham University, spoke about this scholarship giving young people the opportunity to further their education on their path to becoming teachers. Everyone agreed that this was another memorable event that celebrated Joe’s life. The Zoller family is grateful to the community for consistently supporting Joe’s scholarship fund.
