Chris Dorgler of Floral Park is among the three student-athletes from The College of Saint Rose have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court.
In order to be selected; a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically, must own a cumulative 3.20 grade-point-average at the conclusion of the past year, and must have matriculated at least one year at his current institution.
Dorgler is a student at Archbishop Molloy, has been recognized for the third consecutive year.
Rising senior guards Max Weaver of Loudonville, NY, along with rising junior forward Tyler Sayre of Garnerville, NY, were the other two athletes honored, along with Dorgler.
Earlier this week, the NABC recognized the Golden Knights with a Team Academic Excellence Award for the third consecutive year. Saint Rose also previously earned a Team Academic Award from the Northeast-10 Conference for having the highest team GPA among the league’s 15 institutions.
