Mooney Meets Future Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair

Richard “MoonMan” Mooney, past post commander of Floral Park’s American Legion Post 334 and VFW Post 6910, met with the Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps, “Fighting Joe”, General Joseph F. Dumford Jr. who, on Oct. 10, will become the next chairman of the joint chiefs of staff. Dumford was the guest of honor and main speaker at a reunion of Marine Vietnam combat Veterans of Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, held recently in Quincy, MA.
