The deadline for the first-half general tax payment for all North Hempstead residents is due on Feb. 10.
First-half 2016 general tax payments must be postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service on or before Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, to avoid penalty. This is in accordance with the normal procedures that the Town is required to follow under the law. Any modification to this schedule made elsewhere in Nassau County does not apply to Town of North Hempstead tax bills.
If you are paying in full by Feb. 10, remember to take the one percent discount on the second-half amount as indicated on your bill. Residents may also pay in person at the Tax Office at 200 Plandome Rd., Manhasset, or online at www.northhempsteadny
.gov/tax.
