Village Elections March 15

496px-Your_Vote_Counts_BadgeThe five villages of Manhasset, which includes Flower Hill, Munsey Park, Plandome, Plandome Heights and Plandome Manor, will hold upcoming elections on Tuesday, March 15. A number of positions are up for re-election for the board of trustees and all seats are running for re-election unopposed. Two changes are of note; Plandome Heights trustee Lynn Aloia is stepping down and Dianne Sheehan is running in her place as village trustee. Flower Hill’s Village Justice Dennis Reisman, appointed as acting justice in November 2015 to fill the position of retired Justice Bruce Byrne, is running for the position. Here is the list of voting sites and candidates running for each village. Elections are typically held at village hall unless otherwise stated. Voting begins at noon and runs until 9 p.m.
