General village elections were held on Tuesday, March 15, in the villages of Flower Hill, Port Washington North and Baxter Estates. The elections were uncontested. The Villages of Manorhaven and Sands Point will hold their elections in June.
Results are as follows:
Village of Flower Hill
• Mayor Elaine Phillips (two-year term): 46 votes
• Trustee Randall Rosenbaum (two-year term): 43 votes
• Trustee Karen Reichenbach (two-year term): 42 votes
• Trustee Gary Lewandowski (two-year term): 41 votes
• Village Justice Dennis Reisman (four-year term): 44 votes
• One write-in vote.
Village of Port Washington North
• Trustee Michael Malatino (two-year term): 31 votes
• Trustee Steven Cohen (two-year term): 29 votes
Village of Baxter Estates
• Trustee Douglas Baldwin (two-year term): 37 votes
• Trustee Alice Peckelis (two-year term): 40 votes
• Trustee Christopher Ficalora (one-year unexpired term, had been appointed): 38 votes
• Village Justice Eliza Kase (four-year term): 40 votes
• Three write-in votes
