On March 18, The Parent Resource Center (PRC) hosted their Gatsby-inspired gala and it was a huge success. Guests arrived at the Village Club of Sands Point, a former Guggenheim Estate, donned in their swankiest 1920s attire for a walk back in time.
The PRC honored three Port Washington residents who formally held important roles: former President Daniele Goodsell, former Operations Director Shelley Arjune-Persaud and former Head Bookkeeper Fran Lubrano D’Alessandro are all extraordinary women who believe in the PRC’s mission and critical role in supporting the families and children of Port Washington. These women have donated so much time and effort to make a significant difference at the PRC and in the lives of our community members.
The PRC is a nonprofit community center that offers a safe and healthy environment for parents and children to learn, have fun and make friends. We offer parenting workshops, social events, recreational outings, drop-off babysitting, summer camp, and myriad developmental classes geared toward infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
