Head Schreiber Wrestling Coach Anthony Schettino was recently named Nassau County Conference 1 Coach of the Year at the Nassau County Awards Dinner. Coach Schettino is a three-time Nassau County Coach of the Year and a Long Island Sportsmanship of the Year recipient.
Coach Schettino lead the Vikings to another successful season. The team finished with a record of 14-7, qualified for the Nassau County playoffs and finished third in Nassau County Conference 1. The team had
13 All-Conference wrestlers, including five finalists,
two All-County wrestlers and two Nassau County Qualifying Champions.
Coach Schettino also coached his third 100-plus career wins wrestler and his team earned the New York State Scholar Athlete Team distinction for the eighth straight season, showing his athletes are getting the job done on the mats and in the classroom.
