Port student Tobin (fifth grader at Sousa Elementary School) is tilling the soil at home and another site and donating all his summer crops (including onions, tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers) to Port Washington’s families in need (through Our Lady of Fatima Church and Sister Kathy).
“I learned in school that not everyone has enough food to eat so I wanted to do something about it,” said Tobin. “I am going to give away all the vegetables I can grow to families in Port Washington who need help.”
