The Manhasset Park District is seeking to honor the lives lost due to the attacks of 9/11. This year will mark the 15-year anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001..The Manhasset Park District built the 9/11 memorial as a tribute of remembrance to those lost. This memorial serves as a symbol to help us remember the past, acknowledge the present and give hope for the future.
If you wish to honor a loved one you have lost, the Manhasset Park District will engrave their name at the memorial site. The memorial list is to include those who became ill and passed away due to post-9/11 illnesses acquired from working at or living near Ground Zero.
