Joseph F. Bacik

Joseph F. Bacik of Port Washington, age 86, who was a 55-year member of the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department, Co. #2, and a 56-year member of the Manhasset Bay Sportsmen’s Club, died on Sept. 5. Joseph was predeceased by his wife Marie. He is survived by his children, Kevin, Stephen (Maureen), Roseann DiSpigna (Guy), Joseph (Regina) and Carol Burkard (Andy), and his sister, Elizabeth Temparino. Joseph is also survived by seven grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were handled by Austin F. Knowles, Inc. Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, Sept. 9, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter of Alcantara RC Church. The interment followed at Nassau Knolls Cemetery. Donations in his memory to the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department, Co. #2, 2 Community Dr. East, Manhasset, NY 11030 would be greatly appreciated.
