Burglar Arrested For Lake Success And Saddle Rock Break Ins

Earlier today, a 36-year-old Queens man for was arrested for burglaries that occurred on Nov. 1, 2014 in Lake Success and Dec. 20, 2015 in Saddle Rock, according to the Major Case Bureau of the Nassau County Police Department.

After an extensive investigation of residential burglaries, Juan Morales of Astoria was arrested by Burglary Pattern Team detectives in conjunction with the FBI Cyber Financial Crimes Task Force, the United States Customs and Border Patrol and the Third Squad.

Almost two years ago, on Nov. 1, 2014, Morales broke into a Horizon Road home in Lake Success through a rear glass door and stole money and jewelry. The following year, on Dec. 20, 2015, he also entered a Walters Place home in Saddle Rock through a rear glass door and stole cash, jewelry, clothing and silverware.

Morales was placed under arrest with the assistance of Crimes Against Property detectives at JFK Airport in Queens earlier today. He is being charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and will be arraigned tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 21, at First District Court in Hempstead.
