Update: On Tuesday evening, Missing Persons Squad detectives reported that the missing boy has been located.
The Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad was searching for a missing boy who was last seen getting off the school bus this morning, Tuesday, Dec. 6, in Great Neck.
Neil Elefantis, 16, hadn’t been seen since exiting the bus at the Clover Street School at 8:57 a.m.
According to detectives, Elefantis suffers from a cognitive disorder and was in need of medication. He is described as white, 6’2″ tall, 220 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black/brown boots and a black backpack.
Detectives requested that anyone with information regarding Elefantis should contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers remained anonymous.
