Hicksville Crash Leaves 2 Dead

Two people were killed in a fiery SUV crash in Hicksville over the Christmas holiday weekend.

Nassau County police said a Jeep Grand Cherokee heading eastbound on Woodbury Road struck a tree and caught fire shortly after 6 a.m. Saturday.

Two occupants inside were pronounce dead at the scene. The victims’ identities were not immediately available.
