The Floral Park Lions Club, District 20k2 and the Floral Park Junior Women’s Club, will sponsor their fourth Just 4 Women Expo on April 22, at Floral Park Memorial High School. This will be a wonderful opportunity for women of all ages across Long Island to come together and celebrate, laugh, network and become enlightened and informed.
The event will begin with a light breakfast, followed by inspiring keynote speaker, Jamie Lynn Macchia, Miss New York 2015. Attendees will be able to choose from a wide variety of fourteen topics spread over two workshop sessions. Celebrate Earth Day by making an ecological mini-terrarium, get your groove on with PiYo, become versed on finances, or find your pathway to a successful career and life. There are workshops to fulfill an assortment of interests.
Participants of the expo will also enjoy shopping from an impressive assortment of vendors and tastings from long island restaurants. Each woman will receive a tote bag to commemorate the event.
Pre-registration is $20 and $25 at the door. The expo will take place from 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Floral Park Memorial High School, located at 210 Locust Street, Floral Park, NY 11001.
The Floral Park Lions Club has been in existence since 1925 and has been a significant mainstay in Floral Park community; sponsoring and collaborating with many local educational, charitable, and service related endeavors. Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF) will celebrate its Centennial Anniversary this year. Every day, LCIF works to fulfill their mission: “To support the efforts of Lions clubs worldwide in serving their local communities and the world community as they carry out essential humanitarian service projects.”
