• Week two saw the boys enjoying the basketball program, and the girls cheerleading and learning the fundamentals of volleyball. Prior to start of play each morning, players participate in a series of drills, then teams play in two games per morning. Top players from the first week of camp were Ryan Connolly, Chris Battaglia, Dylan Moore, Vincent Spitaletta, James Kelleher, Mark Cunningham and Sam Summer. Top cheerleaders were Victoria Vargas, Christina Vargas and Chloe Iannitti, and top volleyball players were Katie Troy, Carly Lawrence, Eileen McLoone and Kate Reid. In youth tennis, Seamus Kennedy and Yashdeep Singh displayed excellent skills. Staff members of the week were Henry Ferachau, Talia Guarini, Mia Minogue, Grace Woodruff and Kyle Meyfohrt.
• There are still limited openings in weeks three and four of the youth tennis development camp. Applications are available in the shelterhouse. The third set of camps begin on July 17, with touch football for the boys and Kan-Jam for the girls.
• The next arts and crafts session will have be super hero-themed. Participants will design superhero masks and capes along with games and activities after.
