Southside Civic Association of Floral Park Meeting Jan. 11

The Southside Civic Association of Floral Park will be holding its monthly meeting on Thursday, Jan. 11, and the guest speaker is former Federal Transportation Administrator Larry Penner.

Penner will discuss the proposed new train station for the Islanders Arena at Belmont, which would affect Floral Park residents as well as neighboring communities.

The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. All Floral Park residents are welcome, as well as those from nearby towns.
